EXTRAIT OF PARFUM
It started with an image: a humid afternoon on a distant island, where the scent of ripe bananas mingles with the dense air, thick with life. There’s laughter in the distance, sunlight caught between palm fronds, and a breeze carrying something ancient — a smoky whisper, earthy and primal. That contrast lingered. The innocence of fruit. The depth of wood. The warmth of the tropics brushing against something dark, almost sacred.
Bananoud is not about balance. It’s about provocation. About seduction through contrast. It opens with a golden brightness — sun-warmed, creamy, softly tropical — then slowly draws you into shadow. The oud rises from beneath, resinous and deep, grounding the composition in a smoky embrace. Together, they create a duality that is both addictive and unexpected.
